Yes. Every saree on our platform is sourced directly from weaving families in Western Odisha — in Sambalpur, Bargarh, Bolangir, Sonepur and Boudh districts. All carry the Geographical Indication (GI) certification for authentic Sambalpuri weave.

Bandha is a resist-dyeing (IKAT) technique where yarn is tied and dyed before being set on the loom. The weaver must plan the entire design in their mind before weaving begins — there is no correction once the yarn is dyed. This makes every saree unique.

Silk Sambalpuri sarees have a lustrous sheen, are heavier, and are ideal for weddings and festive occasions. Cotton Sambalpuri sarees are lighter, breathable and perfect for daily wear. Both use the same Bandha IKAT tradition.

Never. All sarees on Sambalbhoomi are verified handloom products sourced directly from weavers. We conduct periodic quality audits at source to ensure authenticity.

We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD) for orders within India. All online payments are processed securely via Razorpay.

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement by emailing contactsambalbhoomi@gmail.com. Once the saree is dispatched, cancellation is not possible.

Yes. All prices displayed on Sambalbhoomi are inclusive of 5% GST applicable on handloom textiles.

Standard delivery: 3–7 working days pan-India. Express delivery: 1–2 working days for select cities. Custom woven sarees: 10–21 working days.

Yes — free standard shipping on all orders above ₹1,999. A flat ₹99 shipping fee applies to orders below this amount.

We currently ship within India only. International shipping is coming soon — subscribe to our newsletter to be notified first.

Unused sarees in original packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Custom woven orders are non-returnable unless there is a weaving defect.

Silk Sambalpuri sarees should be dry cleaned only. Cotton sarees may be hand washed gently in cold water with mild detergent. See our full Saree Care Guide for detailed instructions.

Yes — directly and transparently. Weavers are paid upfront at a price they set. There are no middlemen. A small platform fee is charged only after the payment is received.
